Beyond Celebrations
Our Activities
Building a stronger community through service, compassion, youth engagement, and collective responsibility.
At Telugu Students' Association, Delhi (TSA Delhi), we believe that our responsibility extends beyond cultural celebrations. Through community service, educational engagement, and social initiatives, we encourage students to work together and make a positive difference in society.
Youth Engagement
Y20 Chaupal
TSA Delhi successfully hosted a Y20 Chaupal that brought together approximately 100 students for a discussion on the theme "Shared Future: Youth in Democracy and Governance."
The programme featured Ms. Apurva Singh as the keynote speaker and provided a platform for young people to engage with ideas about democracy, governance, civic participation, and the role of youth in shaping the future.
Through such initiatives, TSA Delhi encourages students to think critically, exchange perspectives, and become responsible and active members of society.
Every Drop Matters
Blood Donation
Blood donation is a meaningful act of solidarity that can help save lives and support patients in need. It reflects the spirit of compassion, generosity, and responsibility that we seek to encourage within our student community.
TSA Delhi recognises the importance of voluntary blood donation and the role young people can play in spreading awareness about this life-saving cause.
Through awareness and participation in appropriate community initiatives, we encourage students to learn about voluntary blood donation and support safe, medically supervised donation drives.
Standing Together in Difficult Times
COVID-19 Relief Activities
During the COVID-19 pandemic, TSA Delhi's President and Treasurer distributed face shields, masks, and sanitizers to frontline workers.
This initiative reflected the importance of community solidarity and the need to support those working to protect public health during an exceptionally challenging period.
The effort stands as an example of how collective action and a sense of responsibility can contribute to the well-being of society.
Sharing with Compassion
Food Donation Drives
TSA Delhi organises food donation drives near Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi, to support people in need. These initiatives reflect our belief that access to food and the dignity of every individual deserve our attention.
Beyond providing meals, these drives encourage volunteers to practise kindness, empathy, and social responsibility. They also inspire young people to recognise the value of helping others through simple but meaningful actions.
By bringing volunteers together for a common cause, TSA Delhi seeks to nurture a lasting spirit of generosity within the student community.
Towards a Cleaner Environment
Namami Gange
Namami Gange is a national programme dedicated to the conservation and rejuvenation of the River Ganga and the improvement of its ecological health.
TSA Delhi reports receiving a certificate of recognition for its efforts associated with environmental awareness and the goal of a cleaner and greener environment. The certificate was attributed to G. Ashok Kumar, former Director General of the National Mission for Clean Ganga.
This initiative reflects the importance of environmental responsibility and the contribution young people can make towards protecting our shared natural heritage.
Small Actions, Meaningful Change
Together, We Can Make a Difference
From supporting fellow students to serving communities, engaging with important public issues, and encouraging environmental responsibility, TSA Delhi believes that meaningful change begins when people come together.
Every act of kindness, every helping hand, and every contribution matters. We invite students to participate, volunteer, and help build a more compassionate and connected community.
